The Day of the lord

The rapture is a topic about which scholars, theologians, and every Christian has a different opinion, based on personal understanding, or teaching through pastors. I have been taught a pre-tribulation rapture, but it never sat quite right with my spirit. 

So, I embarked on a 2-months-long Bible study of “The Day of the Lord”. Completely unbiased, and open to whatever scripture, and the Holy Spirit would reveal.

Revelation

I read the book of Revelation multiple times, and I have always questioned the order in which events are being presented by pastors. 

In combination with my “The Day of the Lord” study, and lots of praying for understanding, I developed a chart that puts the events a bit more in order, based on description and wording used by John in Revelation. 

The judgements – seals, trumpets, and bowls – all follow a specific pattern, and they all end in the same event – peals of thunder, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake. Which means that these judgements will happen simultaneously rather than in order.

This is what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me.
